Gameplay[edit]
Hidden Agenda is an adventure game played from a third-person perspective.[1] The player takes control of homicide detective Becky Marney and district attorney Felicity Graves, both of whom are involved in the case of a serial killer known as The Trapper.[2] The game features quick time events that determine the outcome of the story, including a character's death or survival. With the PlayLink feature, others may join the game to vote for a specific decision to be made, using their Android or iOS smartphones. In competitive mode, one player will at some point receive a secret objective, or Hidden Agenda, which is intended to create conflict between the players as they try to prevent it from happening.[1][3][4]
Development[edit]
Supermassive Games served as the game's developer,[5] using Unreal Engine 4.[6][7]
Release[edit]
Hidden Agenda was announced at E3 2017,[4] along with a launch trailer promoting support for the PlayLink feature.[3]
Awards[edit]
The game won the award for 'Best of E3' at the GamesRadar+ E3 Awards.[8]

PlayLink titles are designed to be played in a group setting, allowing for a truly fun and dynamic experience. The collection of PlayLink games vary from gritty crime thrillers to quick-fire quizzes. Sony gave detailed information on Supermassive Games' Hidden Agenda, which tasks up to six friends with navigating a gritty crime drama by guiding a detective and a district attorney through dangerous traps left behind by a serial killer called 'The Trapper.' Similar to Supermassive's PS4 game Until Dawn, players will have to use quick-thinking decision making to help each character survive to the end of the story, but a voting mechanic will weigh the characters' decisions toward whichever option receives the most votes.
Additionally, each player will get a hidden agenda at the start of the game, requiring them to ensure that they reach a private goal, even if it goes against the group's overall plan. No release date for each game was yet given, but Sony will offer
